Morgan Pinkham
Choreographer Dancer Educator
Morgan Pinkham is a professional dancer, choreographer, and educator. Born in Toledo, Ohio and raised in Riverview, Michigan, she started her formal dance training at the age of twelve under the direction of Sherry’s Academy of Dance. She continued her training at Oakland University, earning a BFA in Dance Performance as well as a State Teaching Certification in Dance Education.
As a professional dancer, she has performed with Eisenhower Dance Detroit, Water Street Dance Milwaukee, and Take Root Dance Company, as well as worked as a teaching artist with the School of EDD. Morgan has also had the pleasure of working with Art Lab J, Detroit Dance City Festival, and Brighton Dance Festival as an intern for numerous programs.
Morgan’s focus as an educator is rooted in empowerment and artistic growth. Her teaching philosophy is centered around helping students develop their individuality and artistry. She believes that everyone has something different to bring to the table, and those skills need to be appreciated and molded by the instructor.
